Cinema: the Lotus complex near Chaweng has a completely modern cinema showing current English language movies.
Thai Boxing: one can enjoy Muay Thai two or three nights a week in Chaweng at either the Chaweng Stadium near the Reggae Pub or Phatchabuncha Stadium near the Lam Din Market. Bouts usually feature up and coming Thai fighters.
Living Bowl: there is a twelve lane bowling alley above McDonalds in Chaweng Beach. Prices are very reasonable.
Samui Shooting Gallery: a target range is located near Chaweng Beach. Prices are alittle high, beginning at 300 baht for ten rounds.
Samui Go Kart: located near Chaweng, it provides karting for the beginner and the serious karter. Prices are somewhat steep. The fast carts cost 400 baht for 10 minutes use and the slow karts are 300 baht for ten minutes.
Thai massage: Thai massage can be enjoyed at all major tourists resorts for prices beginning at around 200 baht for one hour of regular, traditional Thai massage. Prices at facilities located in hotels and resorts will usually be higher.
Golf: Ko Samui Island is not a major golf destination but it does have one excellent 18 hole golf course, the Santiburi Resort course, and another 18 hole course under construction. There are two or three challenging and beautiful nine hole courses, a driving range in Lamai Beach, and miniature golf courses in Chaweng Beach (opposite Pizza Hut) and Choeng Mon Beach.
Ko Samui International Airport: the airport has won several awards for its architectural excellence. It is designed to be environmentally friendly and aesthetically pleasing. It is constructed with native materials to resemble a jungle village and blend in with the surrounding jungle. Many airport functions are designed to be performed outside, under palm trees. It is worth a visit, especially for the traveler who is arriving and departing by ferry boat.
